Pound Ridge Culture Quest
October 28, 2020 @ 7:00 pm

Pound Ridge Culture Quest is a new series featuring professionals from all disciplines: writing, visual arts and the performing arts. The talks of the speakers in the series will spring from the theme of “How I Got Here.” The first professional featured will be Judith Dupre, a renowned author, structural historian and public speaker. She will share some of the highs, lows, and detours of her life as a writer, along with ideas and prompts for writers or “would-be” writers who want to tell their own stories.
Judith Dupre is the New York Times bestselling author of several works of narrative nonfiction on art, design and architecture. Dupré illuminates the marvelous, especially as revealed in art, architecture, and engineering. An inspired visual storyteller, she connects people to ideas, structures, and places, creating new understanding and joy. She has been described as “a scholar with a novelist’s eye for detail and a journalist’s easy style.”
