This six-week series continues evidence-based self-care practices. Each 60-minute session addresses a special domain of wellness and present best practices. All practice enhances the mind-body-breath connection which is considered the key to optimal well being. This next series will focus on The Resilience of the Heart. We will begin a journey full of heart to the center of conscious compassion. Respect anew the depth and breath of your heart’s resilience. Steady your mind, use your breath and feel the innate courage of your heart. Our heart is the centerpiece, our breath its regulator, our mind its anchor. Instructor Deirdre Breen, NBC-HWC, AHC, is a board certified health and wellness coach, master yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Health Counselor with over 35 years experience. She has been offering the Library’s weekly Mindfulness Meditation program since 2016. Dr. Deborah Kiley will join the series to address the physiology of the heart and answer questions.
