“What’s Up, King Tut? The Myths, Treasures and Archaeology of King Tut-Ankh-Amun”
Explore King Tut’s life, the golden treasure he was buried with, the archaeology and story of his tomb’s discovery, his struggles with numerous physical conditions, *why* he’s so very famous, and dive deep into his tomb’s four rooms of gold!
This program is the second of a six-week series. Series appropriate for children in Kindergarten-Grade 5.
Marisa Horowitz- Jaffe has been teaching, studying and living ancient history for over 25 years. Her background includes double Bachelors degrees in Roman Archaeology and Egyptology from The University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree from Harvard University in Art and Museum Education. She spent two decades working in elite NYC art museum education departments, and now enjoys bringing her own artifacts and mobile museum to teach enrichment programs in schools, libraries and community groups. Currently, she is teaching online virtual lecture series and virtual museum tours successfully through Outschool.com and through MWM.
