“Tut, Togas & Tombs: Discovering Ancient Cultures” with Marisa Horowitz-Jaffe
January 7 @ 4:00 pm
“The Pyramids, Sphinx and Giza Plateau: Much More Than Just Pyramids”
Step into a time when papyrus grew along the Nile River and pyramids dotted the horizon in Ancient Egypt with illustrated and engaging presentations. This program focuses on the vast amount of archaeological remains found on the Giza plateau which goes far beyond the famous pyramids. We explore workmen villages, ships buried beneath the sand, and the true story of the Great Sphinx.
This program is the first in a six-week series. This series is appropriate for students in Kindergarten-Grade 5.
