“Gladiators and Secrets of The Colosseum”
Experience the different types of Gladiatorial games, tour the Colosseum and its many secrets, learn how modern sports relates back to Gladiators, and discover what a Roman Chariot competition feels like!
This is the fifth session in a six-week series. The series is appropriate for students in Kindergarten-Grade 5.
Marisa Horowitz- Jaffe has been teaching, studying and living ancient history for over 25 years. Her background includes double Bachelors degrees in Roman Archaeology and Egyptology from The University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree from Harvard University in Art and Museum Education. She spent two decades working in elite NYC art museum education departments, and now enjoys bringing her own artifacts and mobile museum to teach enrichment programs in schools, libraries and community groups. Currently, she is teaching online virtual lecture series and virtual museum tours successfully through Outschool.com and through MWM.
