*New Books are books that have been acquired by the Library in the last six months.
** Express Books have a loan period of two weeks and cannot be renewed or placed on hold.

Paying Overdue Fines
Overdue fines may be paid in person during library business hours. For your convenience, you can pay your fines online through Westchester Library System Online Bill Pay which charges a $2.50 convenience fee.
To check on your account balance, you can stop in or call the library at 914-764-5035. To view your account balance online, please log onto your WLS account and use the Charges/Payments tabs at the bottom of your account summary to see your account balance.
Please note that a balance of $25 in fines will result in a temporary suspension of library privileges.
Renewals
With the exception of Express Books, Museum Passes, and Nintendo Console and Games, all items are renewable as long as there are no holds on the item. You can renew an item in person at the circulation desk during business hours or online by logging into your Westchester Library System account.
Returning Materials
During business hours, all borrowed items may be returned to the library front desk. When we are closed, all items, except Museum Passes and Nintendo Consoles and Games, may be returned via the outdoor drop box.
All items with the exception of museum passes and Nintendo Consoles and Games may be returned to any other Westchester County Public Library.
Requesting Materials
If an item you wish to borrow or view is not available at the Pound Ridge Library, it can be requested from within the Westchester Library System or from libraries outside of the Westchester Library System in the United States. Please see our InterLibrary Loans page for more information.
