An event every week that begins at 3:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 28, 2023
Join us for a cozy and creative time at the library with our “No Strings Attached” program! Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or a complete beginner, this program offers a welcoming space for individuals of all skill levels to come together, share ideas, and work on knitting projects. Casual knitting, crocheting, or needlepoint all welcome! Discover the joy of knitting in the company of fellow enthusiasts. Build connections with like-minded individuals who share a passion for the craft. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced knitter eager to share your expertise, this program is an excellent opportunity to exchange tips, tricks, and techniques. Bring your own project from home OR come ready to learn one knitting stitch to make a scarf for a veteran (to benefit the men and women at the 23rd street Veterans Administration). Enjoy coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the newly refreshed library while your hands in relaxed and comfortable environment conducive to creativity and socialization. The library provides a tranquil setting for you to unwind while working on your projects. While you’re in the library, explore the library’s collection of knitting books, magazines, and online resources. Our knowledgeable staff can guide you to valuable references to enhance your knitting skills.
Registration guarantees a spot in the program. Registration does not guarantee a parking spot. The library encourages carpooling as much as possible.
