Chess Instruction for Kids

Join us for chess instruction! You will have a blast! Play with your friends, and make new ones!

Beginners to advanced players are welcome to attend.

Program is intended for children in Kindergarten – Grade 5, but children in higher grades are welcome to attend.

Chess sets will be provided, but children are welcome to bring their own if they wish.

Ian Harris will be away until August.   In his stead, he is sending us Oleg “Alex” Iosifovich.    Mr. Iosifovich is an expert rated player with many years of coaching experience in Moscow and across Fairfield County, Connecticut.  An avid chess player and competitor since 9 years old, Alex has experience representing Moscow College as well as in national team events of Moldova.

Program to be held in Library.

Registration required.  A limit of 20 children for the program.   Please register only your child and not the caregivers.  Please register on the website.
