FOX READ

What would you do if the tiger from your grandma’s story came for dinner? 

Join Mr. Alan and Bedford Schools’ teachers for a program for the Fox Read book selection When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller.. We will discuss the book with attention to the use of folktale. Then we will imagine ourselves through drawings and/or words into our favorite folktales. To do this participants will be given the opportunity to write creatively and/or make art to explore folktales. 

When You Trap a Tiger is a 5th to 8th grade read; however everyone of any age in the community is welcome to participate! Please read the book, share it with family and friends, then attend the program to discuss and create with other community members.
