“What’s Up with Shipping?” Maritime Supply Chain Lecture with John McCown

Pound Ridge Library welcomes local author John McCown. John will present “What’s Up with Shipping? Container Shipping: How It Developed, How it Impacts You & What’s Up With Recent Issues?”. John will draw on his shipping background to discuss the maritime supply chain and how it affects us every day.

John D. McCown is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Center for Maritime Strategy, the Navy League’s think tank. He is an internationally recognized expert in container shipping with four decades of senior operating and investment experience in the field. Mr. McCown advises, lectures and writes about maritime issues and his analyses and observations are widely read and quoted.
