Mark Crawford, author of Divided Loyalty: Four Sons of the Revolution will appear in person at the library to discuss his book. The Pound Ridge historical Society will co-sponsor this event and facilitate a Q&A session at the end of the discussion. It promises to be an interesting and lively event.
“In 1743, my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandparents John and Jane (Henderson) Crawford were among the early settlers in Pound Ridge. When the Revolutionary War broke out, their four sons were living on side-by-side farms along Stone Hill Road. Two decided to support the revolution, while the other two served as Loyalists to King and Crown. The novel tells their story.”
