The April 10 meeting will be our first meeting of the year that is open to the public. It will be an in-person meeting held at the Pound Ridge library. There will be a business meeting for members at 9:15 AM followed by our program which will start approximately at 10 AM.
Our speaker will be Jennifer Cipriano the co-owner of Copia Home and Garden. We invite you to join us for her demonstration to learn what you can plant in your containers at this time of year. Many annuals, perennials, and small shrubs can be used that will with stand the flux in temperatures. Jennifer will share her ideas of how to artfully combine the many choices available. Many of these plants can also be re-planted in the garden and are pollinator friendly.
Jennifer Cipriano attended Cornell University, earning a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and has worked at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Denver Botanic Gardens. She particularly enjoys giving gardening workshops in our area. She and her husband Peter have recently started their own farm growing perennials, trees and shrubs, organic vegetables, and raising eggs.
