Planning Your Organic Vegetable Garden with Sharon Stone, Master Gardener and Farmer. This is the 3rd in the Gardening Speaker Series in partnership with the Pound Ridge Garden Club.
Spring is the time to start planning your vegetable garden! Join Sharon Stone, Uconn Master Gardener and Farmer at Wakeman Town Farm in Westport, CT, and review the things you should consider when planning your organic vegetable garden. We will discuss topics that cover what to grow, recommended soil, light requirements, water requirements, compost, organic fertilizer, and common pets and funguses. There will be time to ask Sharon any questions at the end. You won’t want to miss this informative presentation by this veteran farmer!
